Judy Boykin-McCarthy – Counselor
B.A. in Behavioral Science, Lesley University
M.A. in Psychology and Counseling, Goddard College
Ed.D. in Educational Leadership and Change, Fielding Graduate University

Judy has been a school counselor for about 30 years. Before joining the Meridian faculty, she counseled middle-school students and taught health and guidance classes at the West Tisbury School on Martha’s Vineyard. She has had experience in counseling teenagers at a community mental health center and at a program for survivors of battering and sexual assault. Judy has also been teaching psychology courses for Cape Cod Community College. Emotional and social development during adolescence can be a bumpy ride for most pre-teens and teens. Judy enjoys supporting students as they learn to address and solve their problems. When she is not counseling or teaching, you will probably find her kayaking, gardening, traveling, or exploring art museums. Judy joined Meridian in 2015.
